Institute of Dance Artistry is a school of modern, ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, and hip-hop dance with classes in Pilates and yoga.

The studio offers a quality dance education in a supportive environment. Students of I.D.A. are given the tools to develop strong dance technique, artistic ability, self-confidence, and passion for the art of dance.  Every student has a place at I.D.A. from those who dance as a hobby to those with professional aspirations.  The individual and unique talents and abilities of all are embraced and encouraged.

All dance classes are taught by young, enthusiastic professionals with Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in dance and current professional performers and choreographers on the Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York dance scenes.

Class Attire and Shoes:

Ballet attire: Leotard required; tights, skirt, or dance pants;

Ballet shoes

Jazz attire: Tank or leotard; Dance pants; Jazz shoes

Modern attire: Tank or leotard; Dance pants; Bare feet

Lyrical attire: Tank or leotard; Dance pants, Jazz shoes

Tap attire: Tank or leotard; Dance pants; Tap shoes

Hip-hop attire: Tank or t-shirt; Dance pants or sweats; Hip-hop sneakers

***NO jeans, shorts, or non-dance skirts.***
