Dominick Boyd was raised in the Bronx, New York where he started his professional dance career at the age of 17. He has performed with artists such as Alicia Keys, Bad Boy recording artist 112, Omarion, and others.
Now Dominick Boyd resides in the state of Pennsylvania where he created his own dance company and training program Born Into the Arts (B.I.A.). In its nine years of establishment, B.I.A. has received many awards and performed at many prestigious places and events such as World of Dance, Prelude, and Dance Craze. Just recently B.I.A. was accepted onto the legendary Showtime at the Apollo.
Dominick's artistic motto is "dance is the image of sound and movement is the window to your soul." Dominick has been a hip-hop teacher and company choreographer at IDA for ten years.
Kelli Moshen, Founder and Artistic Director of Philadelphia’s premier dance company Project Moshen, is also a dance instructor at Koresh School of Dance and a Barre instructor at The Sporting Club at the Bellevue. Since receiving her BFA in jazz dance from the University of the Arts, she has choreographed and performed along with her company in various Philly Fringe Festivals, The Philadelphia Flower show, Corporate Events for Genos Steaks, Morris Animal Refuge’s Furball, Koresh Showcases, Steps on Broadway showcase, and the Come Together Dance Festival. Kelli has worked with acclaimed choreographers such as Rennie Harris, Ronen Koresh, Melissa Rector, Scott Jovovich, Crystal Fraizer and Samuel Reyes.
Besides running her own company, Kelli works for Events Beyond Expectations (EBE) as a Master of Ceremonies performing at Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, corporate events, galas and more. Kelli is also involved in the business aspects of dance. She has worked for McDonald Selznick Associates (MSA) a prominent Dance Agency in New York City and Los Angeles and Broadway Dance Center where her experience has taught her how to operate her own company and teach in the professional dance world.
Kelli’s love for performing has not only inspired her students, but her colleagues as well. Kelli continues to broaden her dance technique by traveling to New York and Los Angeles to train.
Rebecca Inman. has been a full-time instructor at IDA for 11 years. She is a graduate from University of the Arts with a B.F.A. in Jazz Dance Performance. She has performed with several different dance companies in Philadelphia including Junto Society Dance Collective, Venus Dance and Flow.
Rebecca has also performed professionally with New Jersey's Surflight Theater in musical theater productions. Some of her leading roles include Belle in "Beauty and the Beast", Wendy in "Peter Pan", Cinderella in "Cinderella", and Glinda in "Wizard of Oz."
She has been a featured dancer in "Damn Yankees," "La Cage Aux Folles," "Cabaret," and "Fiddler on the Roof." Rebecca was also a principle dancer in Cygnus Contemporary Dance Company where she performed in the corps de ballet in "Coppelia," "Cinderella," and "Faust" with memebrs of the Metropolitan Opera in New York City.
Sarah Dziomba is a dancer, choreographer, and dance educator in the Philadelphia area. Originally from southeastern Connecticut, she grew up performing and competing across the country while staying involved in local musical theater productions. Sarah moved to Philadelphia where she earned her BFA in dance choreography and performance from Temple University. She also studied dance/movement therapy at Drexel University and worked with various populations including pediatric cancer patients, children with cerebral palsy, mental healthcare recipients, and breast cancer survivors.
Sarah has performed with Philadelphia dance companies Project Moshen and Blind Faith Project. She has also worked with independent choreographers including Tara Madsen Robbins, Alicia Sehn, and Tracy Kelsey. Sarah has trained and performed as an aerialist and was on staff at the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts as a summer intensive dance instructor for teen aerialists in training. As a dance educator, Sarah believes that a passion and respect for dance as an athletic craft should be cultivated and supported.
Interested in taking her passion of movement, strength, and helping people even further, Sarah is training and studying as a new strength coach under the guidance of John Bair of Bair Knuckle Strength. She is a certified Functional Movement Specialist (FMS) and is excited to begin this new venture that will help others increase the vibrancy of their lives through building strength.

Amy Smith graduated with a BFA in dance from Temple University with concentrations in modern, jazz and ballet. She was a modern dance scholarship student at the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts and was asked back for several years to assist. Amy continues to train and take class at Broadway Dance Center, NYC and throughout Philadelphia.
Amy has performed at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre as part of Koresh Dance Company’s Come Together Festival, the Koresh Artist Showcase, at The Producer’s Club in NYC, at The Laurie Beechman Theatre in NYC, at the Kraine Theatre in NYC, at the Teatro Centro Civico Eloy Alfaro in Guayaquil, Ecuador and has opened for BalletX in Philadelphia, to name a few.
As a choreographer, Amy has directed her own dance company, The AccoMpanY Dancers, which performed at Temple University, in Atlantic City, and throughout New Jersey. Her choreography was presented at the Capitol Fringe in Washington D.C., at the Koresh Artist Showcase, Koresh’s Come Together Festival, in many theaters in NYC and throughout Philadelphia.

Jamie Lipskin is the founder and director of Institute of Dance Artistry. She has a B.F.A. in dance from Temple University with concentrations in modern and ballet. She is also the director of the IDA Repertory Companies and has worked to form a strong relationship between Institute of Dance Artistry and the Philadelphia professional dance community.
Jamie produces the Generations Dance Concert series featuring student and professional dancers helping raise money for various charities. Her choreography has been selected and performed at the Koresh Artists Showcase, Inhale Performance Series, and Philadelphia Youth Dance Festival. She also is a musical theater choreographer and has staged many great dance shows including West Side Story, Cabaret, Spring Awakening, and A Chorus Line. Jamie has performed with various dance companies and independent choreographers in the Philadelphia area in many venues including the Arts Bank, Drake Theatre, International House, Meetinghouse Theatre, Conwell Dance Theatre, Merriam Theater and Society Hill Playhouse as well as in several Philadelphia Fringe Festivals.
Jamie’s number one passion is teaching dance. She believes in creating a lively, energetic environment where students work hard to achieve their absolute best while generating an excitement and enthusiasm for the art of dance.
Wendi Fisch began dance training at the age of three and still continues to study her art form. She became a serious student at the Tidewater Ballet Association in Norfolk, VA. under the direction of Gene Hammett. She was an invitational student at the School of American Ballet in New York City, The Royal Ballet in London, Melissa Hayden Ballet School and a scholarship recipient at the Joffrey Ballet. She performed with Mikhail Baryshnikov and New York City Ballet at Kennedy Center and the White House. Wendi was one of two dancers chosen to dance Balanchine’s Union Jack at Kennedy Center.
She has worked or studied with renowned choreographers and teachers ,including Alexandra Danilova, Edward Villella , Meredith Baylis, Francesca Corkle, Suki Schorer, Patricia Sorrell and many more. Wendi has been a guest artist for many companies including the Richmond Ballet,Washington Ballet and a member of the San Antonio Ballet Company and American Festival Ballet Company. She received a Bachelor of Science in Ballet/Music and Psychology from Indiana University, Bloomington under the direction of Jean Pierre Bonnefoux, Patricia McBride and Jacques Cesbron. While at Indiana, she originated roles in Carmina Burana for Jaques Cesbron and works for the opera with noted choreographer Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux.
She has performed lead roles in Gisele, Swan Lake, Paquita, Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Sleeping Beauty and Balanchine works. She has been teaching for over twenty-five years throughout the country and the Philadelphia area and enthusiastically continues to teach and choreograph. Wendi has been involved in the preparation of her students participating in the Youth America Grand Prix competition and dancing at Regional Dance America. She has started numerous non-profit dance programs throughout the country that are still thriving today. Wendi uses her current pilates training to focus on proper alignment and body awareness while concentrating on a strong technical foundation. She believes in inspiring her students to follow their dreams with a solid work ethic, confidence, artistry and passion.
Steven Vaughn, born in the Midwest and raised in Massachusetts, began dancing very young at various dance studios and continued through high school. He graduated cum laude with awards from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA in 2009 earning a BFA & MFA Dance.
While in Philadelphia, he worked with Brian Sanders, Jennifer Binford- Johnson, Scott Jovovich, Curt Haworth, Silvana Cardell and more. After an apprenticeship with the company during his final year at UArts, Steven was a dancer with Parsons Dance (under David Parsons) until 2014. While in New York City, he worked with Monica Bill-Barnes, Robert Battle, and Kate Skarpetowska among others. He performed in Teddy Forance and Jon Arpino’s CLI dance documentary “Movement One” starring Stephen “tWitch” Boss and he can be seen on “Law and Order:SVU”.
He has taught across the United States, Italy and Israel and has been commissioned by Houston Metropolitan Dance Co., SHARP Dance Co., Harvard University, Westchester University, Long Island University, and other college dance programs.
He is currently living in Philadelphia, PA and completing a MFA in Dance from Hollins University in Virginia under director Jeffery Bullock. Steven is on faculty at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ, as well as various studios in the greater Philadelphia area. He continues to choreograph, teach and perform as a guest artist and for his own troupe, Open Category Dance Co.
Lauren Maschmeyer, grew up in Wayne, PA and began training at the Rock School West under the direction of Bo and Stephanie Spassoff in all styles of dance ranging from ballet, tap, jazz and musical theater. Once she started high school, she decided to focus primarily on ballet and continued her training at the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet under John White and Margarita De Saa. During this time, she took class at Koresh Dance School to keep up with her modern technique as well. She attended numerous summer programs such as The Rock School, Houston Ballet, American Ballet Theatre and Nutmeg Conservatory of the Arts.
She continued her education at Florida State University graduating with a BFA in Dance and a BS in Finance. Lauren had the opportunity to work with faculty members such as Gerri Houlihan, Lynda Davis, Dan Wagoner and Suzanne Farrell focusing on ballet and various modern techniques. While in school, she joined the Tallahassee Ballet Company as a Senior Company member in 2011 and was promoted to Soloist for the 2012-2014 seasons under the direction of Rick McCullough and Tyrone Brooks. With the company, she performed roles in numerous ballets such as The Nutcracker, Rapunzel, Beauty and the Beast and Sleeping Beauty.
She began teaching at The Tallahassee Ballet School in 2012, and taught all age groups various styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, creative movement and pointe and variations.
Lauren currently works at Vanguard pursuing her Finance degree, but has a strong passion for teaching dance as well. She loves to utilize both degrees, and have the chance to spread her love of dance to the students after she is done at the office each day.
Yuki Ishiguro, is originally from Japan. He began dancing at 18 years old when he discovered break dancing on the street. He went on to study many forms of dance. Yuki graduated from Ritsumeikan University with a Bachelor’s degree in business but chose to move to New York City to become a professional dancer.
Yuki studied contemporary dance at Dance New Amsterdam (DNA) mostly influenced by Max Stone and also became certified in the Simonson dance teaching method. Yuki trained extensively with America’s Got Talent Season 8 winner Kenichi, studying hip-hop based tricks, magic, and prop manipulation for stage effects for dance.
Based on his training and his own practice Yuki created his own dance style and signature movement which has been praised in dance reviews. “Speedy mix of b-boy, gymnastics and dance that seemingly could only be done by a gymnast who has street performing cred and some serious dance training.”-Offoffoff
Yuki has danced and toured with more than 20 dance companies in the US including Roxey Ballet, Catapult Entertainment, New York City ballet choreographer Emery LeCrone, IsadoraNOW and Dance Visions NY built by the disciples of legendary modern dance icon Isadora Duncan. Yuki’s name has been recorded in the Isadora Duncan Archive for his creation of a male version of Duncan moves which was praised by dance reviewers.
Additionally Yuki has danced and choreographed for films, and has studied videography, martial arts, and yoga. He created his own practice style “Breakin’ Flow” which has been taught at US circus festivals. Yuki is excited to be bringing his unique style and international experience to the students of IDA.
Michelle Figueiredo, "chelliefig," is a dancer, choreographer, dance adjudicator, and master class teacher. She graduated from Rider University as a double major with a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience, a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance, and a certificate in leadership. Throughout college, Michelle trained with American Repertory Ballet at the Princeton Ballet School, was the recipient of the Mildred C. Hawkins Fine Arts Endowed Scholarship, and is a member of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts.
Michelle is a former captain of the Sixers Dancers. Through the Sixers, Michelle has performed on an NBA China Tour in cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Lanzhou, Fuzhou, Dongguan, Nanchang, and in Taipei, Taiwan. In 2014, Michelle was selected to be a member of the NBA All Star Dance Team for the All Star game held in New Orleans, Louisiana; and in addition, has performed at the 2015 All Star Game in New York City. She also has performed during halftimes and other events with various artists including Nico&Vinz, Tag Team, Montell Jordan, Naughty by Nature, Pharrell Williams, and Vanilla Ice.
Taylor Grace, started her dance training at the Dance Center of Queensbury, where she performed ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and acrobatics. After deciding to focus on classical ballet, she started training with the Saratoga Ballet Academy, and then danced with Saratoga City Ballet, a pre-professional ballet company, up until the time she graduated. Taylor has trained at prestigious ballet schools like Boston Ballet, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Miami City Ballet, and the
School of American Ballet.
After graduating from Queensbury High School, she decided to attend Temple University, where she majored in Dance with a focus in Performance and Choreography. Now that Taylor is a recent graduate of Temple University, she would like to continue teaching and attend Graduate school to receive her Master of Arts in Ballet Pedagogy.
Sarah McWilliams, is a dancer and dance teacher who performs and teaches throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. While getting her BFA in Dance Performance & Choreography from Temple University, Sarah had the opportunity to train with artists such as Kun Yang Lin, Jillian Harris, Dr. Laura Katz Rizzo, Beau Hancock, and Shaness Kemp, and also to perform in works by New York City choreographers Kyle Abraham and Larry Keigwin. Currently, Sarah dances for kaycruddenco in NYC, as well as freelance choreographers throughout Philadelphia.
Dance has provided Sarah the chances to travel to Jacksonville, FL, Boston, MA, New York City, and most recently to Kibbutz Ga’aton in Israel. In New York City, Sarah studied at Broadway Dance Center as a student of their Summer Professional Semester, a program that allowed her to perform at Symphony Space in works by industry leading choreographers Matthew Powell, Ricky Hinds, and Cat Cogliandro. During her recent 5 months in Israel, Sarah studied with Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company where she learned and performed company repertoire, as well as a dancing in a new work by emerging choreographer Martin Harriague.
Into the studio Sarah brings her high-energy, spirit, and enthusiasm for movement. Sarah believes in the power of dance to foster self-confidence and self-expression in dancers of all ages, and she looks forward to working with the students at IDA!
Toddler and Me, Creative Movement and Dance for ages 18 months – 3 years.
Children and adults will engage in a variety of different movement activities and games together. These activities are designed to stimulate coordination skills, listening skills, balance, music interpretation, creative movement and motor skill development. This class is an excellent introduction to the world of dance.
Children and adults are asked to wear comfortable clothes and bare feet. Ballet shoes and dance clothes are welcome but not required. All children must be walking independently in order to participate in class.
Janine N. Beckles, a native of New York City, started dancing at the age of six at Dance Theatre of Harlem, where she stayed for eight years under full scholarship. She then continued her training at LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts and the Ailey School on fellowship scholarship (performing "Memoria," "Hymn," and "Revelations").
Janine received a BFA in Dance Performance and a BA in Sociology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. Janine was a National Foundation of the Arts award recipient in Modern Dance in 2000. A former member of Dallas Black Dance Theatre for five years, Janine is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
She is currently a lead dancer with PHILADANCO and in her sixth season. She is the company Graham teacher and masterclass instructor while the company is on tour.
Julie Marinucci began dancing at the young age of 3 years old and has never stopped. Growing up in a studio that quickly became her family, she has never been able to leave the studio atmosphere. She hopes to build her family and build relationships with young dancers who share the same passion of dance and performance while here at IDA.
Julie returned back to Philadelphia after completing her BFA in Dance at Montclair State University and most recently received her masters in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling from Drexel University. Over the years Julie’s work has evolved to morph her technical background with insight gained from her clinical work in the therapeutic field. Her choreography includes, “Accompanied By” which debuted with the Femme. Collective in February of 2016 and performed at the IDA showcase in the spring of 2016, “Exist” as a part of Hatch in the 2014 fringe festival performance and “Captured Memory” as a self- produced show with collaborator Allie Linn in August of 2015.
Through teaching dance, Julie hopes to support her student’s in their passion for dance and movement and create a safe place for them to explore their creativity.
Marissa Kaufmann began her dance training at Metropolitan Ballet Academy and later continued her training at Institute of Dance Artistry and The Pennsylvania School of Performing Arts. She continued her training attending intensives such as Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Christopher K. Morgan & Artists, and The Rock School West.
Marissa received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography from Towson University in May 2017. At Towson University, she was a member of the Towson University Dance Company where she performed works by Kim Bears-Bailey, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Quilan Arnold, Vincent Thomas, and Runqiao Du under the direction of Runqiao Du and Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell. Marissa was a dancer at Six Flags Great Adventure and was also a member of Vaught Contemporary Ballet located in Baltimore Maryland.
Marissa has returned back to Dresher, PA where she will be joining Philadanco’s apprentice company, Danco2, as a company member.
Shannon Bramham is originally from Virginia and graduated with her BFA in Dance Performance from East Carolina University. She joined Koresh Dance Company in 2008. Currently, in addition to dancing as a senior member of the Company, Shannon manages Koresh Dance Company’s robust touring educational and outreach program, leading many of the KDC’s programs offered on tour. In addition, she is among the few dancers chosen to regularly set Koresh choreography.
Shannon is also regularly invited to teach and set her own work. Recent locations include Wright State University, South Dayton Dance Theater, Highpoint University, We are Artists, East Carolina University, and Nina's School of Dance. Her work has also been showcased at ACDFA and RDA.
Shannon currently teaches adults at the Koresh School of Dance.
Leigha Adduci graduated from DeSales University in 2013 where she received her Bachelors Degree in Dance and Bachelors Degree in Communication. Leigha has performed professionally with the DM Dance Company, The Blind Faith Dance Project, Christopher K. Morgan and Artists, Sarah Carlson, Tara Madsen Robbins and Trinette Singleton.
In addition to performing, Leigha has had her own choreography showcased in Philadelphia’s Koresh Dance Company Festival Come Together, by New York City’s Dance New Amsterdam, Montgomery County Community College, Kutztown University and DeSales University. Leigha is actively involved and dedicated to bringing dance outreach performances and programs to non-profit organizations such as the VAST, Truth for Woman, Gilda’s Club, the Muscular Dystrophy Association and 954 Dance Movement Collective.
In addition to teaching at IDA, Leigha is an instructor at The Little Gym and a substitute dance instructor at various studios in the Lehigh Valley area. When she is not teaching dance, Leigha is working as the Events Coordinator at a major University and is currently working towards her MEd in Educational Leadership. Leigha is thrilled to be teaching at Institute of Dance Artistry where she grew up dancing as an IDA student.
Jeff Manosca is a choreographer and dancer currently residing in Philadelphia, PA. He has obtained his Bachelors/Masters of Engineering at Villanova University, but dance has always been his passion. Starting out self-taught in breakdance and choreography with a dance crew, he then continued to train in hip hop at various studios in the NY/NJ/PA/CA areas. He is currently teaching at numerous locations for dance teams, competition teams, and guest workshops.
Jeff has also had the opportunity to travel across the U.S. to teach at studios to benefit and donate to charities. As a setup assistant for Monsters of Hip Hop Jeff has had the opportunity to train under their faculty as well as with Dave Scott, Laurieann Gibson, Tabitha and Napoleaon D’ump (Nappytabs), and Marty Kudelka to name a few. Recently, he auditioned for and accepted a signed offer to join BLOC NYC Talent Agency to explore more opportunities and professional avenues.

Amy continues to train and take class at Broadway Dance Center, NYC and throughout Philadelphia.
Amy has performed at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre as part of Koresh Dance Company’s Come Together Festival, the Koresh Artist Showcase, at The Producer’s Club in NYC, at The Laurie Beechman Theatre in NYC, at the Kraine Theatre in NYC, at the Teatro Centro Civico Eloy Alfaro in Guayaquil, Ecuador and has opened for BalletX in Philadelphia, to name a few.
As a choreographer, Amy has directed her own dance company, The AccoMpanY Dancers, which performed at Temple University, in Atlantic City, and throughout New Jersey. Her choreography was presented at the Capitol Fringe in Washington D.C., at the Koresh Artist Showcase, Koresh’s Come Together Festival, in many theaters in NYC and throughout Philadelphia.
As a teacher, Amy pushes her students rhythmically and artistically while focusing on dance as a performance art, not a competition.
Jamie Lipskin is the founder and director of Institute of Dance Artistry. She has a B.F.A. in dance from Temple University with concentrations in modern and ballet. She is also the director of the IDA Repertory Companies and has worked to form a strong relationship between Institute of Dance Artistry and the Philadelphia professional dance community.
Jamie produces the Generations Dance Concert series featuring student and professional dancers helping raise money for various charities. Her choreography has been selected and performed at the Koresh Artists Showcase, Inhale Performance Series, and Philadelphia Youth Dance Festival. She also is a musical theater choreographer and has staged many great dance shows including West Side Story, Cabaret, Spring Awakening, and A Chorus Line. Jamie has performed with various dance companies and independent choreographers in the Philadelphia area in many venues including the Arts Bank, Drake Theatre, International House, Meetinghouse Theatre, Conwell Dance Theatre, Merriam Theater and Society Hill Playhouse as well as in several Philadelphia Fringe Festivals.
Jamie’s number one passion is teaching dance. She believes in creating a lively, energetic environment where students work hard to achieve their absolute best while generating an excitement and enthusiasm for the art of dance.
Jamie Lipskin, B.F.A Dance, Teaches Various Classes
Wendi Fisch began dance training at the age of three and still continues to study her art form. She became a serious student at the Tidewater Ballet Association in Norfolk, VA. under the direction of Gene Hammett. She was an invitational student at the School of American Ballet in New York City, The Royal Ballet in London, Melissa Hayden Ballet School and a scholarship recipient at the Joffrey Ballet. She performed with Mikhail Baryshnikov and New York City Ballet at Kennedy Center and the White House. Wendi was one of two dancers chosen to dance Balanchine’s Union Jack at Kennedy Center.
She has worked or studied with renowned choreographers and teachers ,including Alexandra Danilova, Edward Villella , Meredith Baylis, Francesca Corkle, Suki Schorer, Patricia Sorrell and many more. Wendi has been a guest artist for many companies including the Richmond Ballet,Washington Ballet and a member of the San Antonio Ballet Company and American Festival Ballet Company. She received a Bachelor of Science in Ballet/Music and Psychology from Indiana University, Bloomington under the direction of Jean Pierre Bonnefoux, Patricia McBride and Jacques Cesbron. While at Indiana, she originated roles in Carmina Burana for Jaques Cesbron and works for the opera with noted choreographer Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux.
She has performed lead roles in Gisele, Swan Lake, Paquita, Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Sleeping Beauty and Balanchine works. She has been teaching for over twenty-five years throughout the country and the Philadelphia area and enthusiastically continues to teach and choreograph. Wendi has been involved in the preparation of her students participating in the Youth America Grand Prix competition and dancing at Regional Dance America. She has started numerous non-profit dance programs throughout the country that are still thriving today. Wendi uses her current pilates training to focus on proper alignment and body awareness while concentrating on a strong technical foundation. She believes in inspiring her students to follow their dreams with a solid work ethic, confidence, artistry and passion.
Steven Vaughn, born in the Midwest and raised in Massachusetts, began dancing very young at various dance studios and continued through high school. He graduated cum laude with awards from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA in 2009 earning a BFA & MFA Dance.
While in Philadelphia, he worked with Brian Sanders, Jennifer Binford- Johnson, Scott Jovovich, Curt Haworth, Silvana Cardell and more. After an apprenticeship with the company during his final year at UArts, Steven was a dancer with Parsons Dance (under David Parsons) until 2014. While in New York City, he worked with Monica Bill-Barnes, Robert Battle, and Kate Skarpetowska among others. He performed in Teddy Forance and Jon Arpino’s CLI dance documentary “Movement One” starring Stephen “tWitch” Boss and he can be seen on “Law and Order:SVU”.
He has taught across the United States, Italy and Israel and has been commissioned by Houston Metropolitan Dance Co., SHARP Dance Co., Harvard University, Westchester University, Long Island University, and other college dance programs.
He is currently living in Philadelphia, PA and completing a MFA in Dance from Hollins University in Virginia under director Jeffery Bullock. Steven is on faculty at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ, as well as various studios in the greater Philadelphia area. He continues to choreograph, teach and perform as a guest artist and for his own troupe, Open Category Dance Co.
Steven Vaughn, B.F.A. & M.F.A. Dance, Choreographer
Lauren Maschmeyer, grew up in Wayne, PA and began training at the Rock School West under the direction of Bo and Stephanie Spassoff in all styles of dance ranging from ballet, tap, jazz and musical theater. Once she started high school, she decided to focus primarily on ballet and continued her training at the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet under John White and Margarita De Saa. During this time, she took class at Koresh Dance School to keep up with her modern technique as well. She attended numerous summer programs such as The Rock School, Houston Ballet, American Ballet Theatre and Nutmeg Conservatory of the Arts.
She continued her education at Florida State University graduating with a BFA in Dance and a BS in Finance. Lauren had the opportunity to work with faculty members such as Gerri Houlihan, Lynda Davis, Dan Wagoner and Suzanne Farrell focusing on ballet and various modern techniques. While in school, she joined the Tallahassee Ballet Company as a Senior Company member in 2011 and was promoted to Soloist for the 2012-2014 seasons under the direction of Rick McCullough and Tyrone Brooks. With the company, she performed roles in numerous ballets such as The Nutcracker, Rapunzel, Beauty and the Beast and Sleeping Beauty.
She began teaching at The Tallahassee Ballet School in 2012, and taught all age groups various styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, creative movement and pointe and variations. Lauren currently works at Vanguard pursuing her Finance degree, but has a strong passion for teaching dance as well. She loves to utilize both degrees, and have the chance to spread her love of dance to the students after she is done at the office each day.
Lauren Maschmeyer, B.F.A., Dance Teaches Various Classes
Yuki Ishiguro, is originally from Japan. He began dancing at 18 years old when he discovered break dancing on the street. He went on to study many forms of dance. Yuki graduated from Ritsumeikan University with a Bachelor’s degree in business but chose to move to New York City to become a professional dancer.
Yuki studied contemporary dance at Dance New Amsterdam (DNA) mostly influenced by Max Stone and also became certified in the Simonson dance teaching method. Yuki trained extensively with America’s Got Talent Season 8 winner Kenichi, studying hip-hop based tricks, magic, and prop manipulation for stage effects for dance.
Based on his training and his own practice Yuki created his own dance style and signature movement which has been praised in dance reviews. “Speedy mix of b-boy, gymnastics and dance that seemingly could only be done by a gymnast who has street performing cred and some serious dance training.”
Yuki has danced and toured with more than 20 dance companies in the US including Roxey Ballet, Catapult Entertainment, New York City ballet choreographer Emery LeCrone, IsadoraNOW and Dance Visions NY built by the disciples of legendary modern dance icon Isadora Duncan. Yuki’s name has been recorded in the Isadora Duncan Archive for his creation of a male version of Duncan moves which was praised by dance reviewers.
Additionally Yuki has danced and choreographed for films, and has studied videography, martial arts, and yoga. He created his own practice style “Breakin’ Flow” which has been taught at US circus festivals. Yuki is excited to be bringing his unique style and international experience to the students of IDA.
Michelle Figueiredo, "chelliefig," is a dancer, choreographer, dance adjudicator, and master class teacher. She graduated from Rider University as a double major with a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience, a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance, and a certificate in leadership. Throughout college, Michelle trained with American Repertory Ballet at the Princeton Ballet School, was the recipient of the Mildred C. Hawkins Fine Arts Endowed Scholarship, and is a member of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts.
Michelle is a former captain of the Sixers Dancers. Through the Sixers, Michelle has performed on an NBA China Tour in cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Lanzhou, Fuzhou, Dongguan, Nanchang, and in Taipei, Taiwan. In 2014, Michelle was selected to be a member of the NBA All Star Dance Team for the All Star game held in New Orleans, Louisiana; and in addition, has performed at the 2015 All Star Game in New York City. She also has performed during halftimes and other events with various artists including Nico&Vinz, Tag Team, Montell Jordan, Naughty by Nature, Pharrell Williams, and Vanilla Ice.
Michelle Figueiredo, BA Dance, Teaches Street Jazz Classes
Sarah McWilliams, is a dancer and dance teacher who performs and teaches throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. While getting her BFA in Dance Performance & Choreography from Temple University, Sarah had the opportunity to train with artists such as Kun Yang Lin, Jillian Harris, Dr. Laura Katz Rizzo, Beau Hancock, and Shaness Kemp, and also to perform in works by New York City choreographers Kyle Abraham and Larry Keigwin. Currently, Sarah dances for kaycruddenco in NYC, as well as freelance choreographers throughout Philadelphia.
Dance has provided Sarah the chances to travel to Jacksonville, FL, Boston, MA, New York City, and most recently to Kibbutz Ga’aton in Israel. In New York City, Sarah studied at Broadway Dance Center as a student of their Summer Professional Semester, a program that allowed her to perform at Symphony Space in works by industry leading choreographers Matthew Powell, Ricky Hinds, and Cat Cogliandro. During her recent 5 months in Israel, Sarah studied with Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company where she learned and performed company repertoire, as well as a dancing in a new work by emerging choreographer Martin Harriague.
Into the studio Sarah brings her high-energy, spirit, and enthusiasm for movement. Sarah believes in the power of dance to foster self-confidence and self-expression in dancers of all ages, and she looks forward to working with the students at IDA!
Sarah McWilliams, B.F.A Dance, Teaches Various Classes
Janine N. Beckles, a native of New York City, started dancing at the age of six at Dance Theatre of Harlem, where she stayed for eight years under full scholarship. She then continued her training at LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts and the Ailey School on fellowship scholarship (performing "Memoria," "Hymn," and "Revelations").
Janine received a BFA in Dance Performance and a BA in Sociology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.
Janine was a National Foundation of the Arts award recipient in Modern Dance in 2000. A former member of Dallas Black Dance Theatre for five years, Janine is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
She is currently a lead dancer with PHILADANCO and in her sixth season. She is the company Graham teacher and masterclass instructor while the company is on tour.
Julie Marinucci began dancing at the young age of 3 years old and has never stopped. Growing up in a studio that quickly became her family, she has never been able to leave the studio atmosphere. She hopes to build her family and build relationships with young dancers who share the same passion of dance and performance while here at IDA.
Julie returned back to Philadelphia after completing her BFA in Dance at Montclair State University and most recently received her masters in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling from Drexel University. Over the years Julie’s work has evolved to morph her technical background with insight gained from her clinical work in the therapeutic field. Her choreography includes, “Accompanied By” which debuted with the Femme. Collective in February of 2016 and performed at the IDA showcase in the spring of 2016, “Exist” as a part of Hatch in the 2014 fringe festival performance and “Captured Memory” as a self- produced show with collaborator Allie Linn in August of 2015.
Through teaching dance, Julie hopes to support her student’s in their passion for dance and movement and create a safe place for them to explore their creativity.

Marissa Kaufmann began her dance training at Metropolitan Ballet Academy and later continued her training at Institute of Dance Artistry and The Pennsylvania School of Performing Arts. She continued her training attending intensives such as Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Christopher K. Morgan & Artists, and The Rock School West.
Marissa received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography from Towson University in May 2017. At Towson University, she was a member of the Towson University Dance Company where she performed works by Kim Bears-Bailey, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Quilan Arnold, Vincent Thomas, and Runqiao Du under the direction of Runqiao Du and Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell. Marissa was a dancer at Six Flags Great Adventure and was also a member of Vaught Contemporary Ballet located in Baltimore Maryland.
Marissa has returned back to Dresher, PA where she will be joining Philadanco’s apprentice company, Danco2, as a company member.

Shannon Bramham is originally from Virginia and graduated with her BFA in Dance Performance from East Carolina University. She joined Koresh Dance Company in 2008. Currently, in addition to dancing as a senior member of the Company,
Shannon manages Koresh Dance Company’s robust touring educational and outreach program, leading many of the KDC’s programs offered on tour. In addition, she is among the few dancers chosen to regularly set Koresh choreography.
Shannon is also regularly invited to teach and set her own work. Recent locations include Wright State University, South Dayton Dance Theater, Highpoint University, We are Artists, East Carolina University, and Nina's School of Dance. Her work has also been showcased at ACDFA and RDA.
Shannon currently teaches adults at the Koresh School of Dance.
Leigha Adduci graduated from DeSales University in 2013 where she received her Bachelors Degree in Dance and Bachelors Degree in Communication. Leigha has performed professionally with the DM Dance Company, The Blind Faith Dance Project, Christopher K. Morgan and Artists, Sarah Carlson, Tara Madsen Robbins and Trinette Singleton.
In addition to performing, Leigha has had her own choreography showcased in Philadelphia’s Koresh Dance Company Festival Come Together, by New York City’s Dance New Amsterdam, Montgomery County Community College, Kutztown University and DeSales University. Leigha is actively involved and dedicated to bringing dance outreach performances and programs to non-profit organizations such as the VAST, Truth for Woman, Gilda’s Club, the Muscular Dystrophy Association and 954 Dance Movement Collective.
In addition to teaching at IDA, Leigha is an instructor at The Little Gym and a substitute dance instructor at various studios in the Lehigh Valley area. When she is not teaching dance, Leigha is working as the Events Coordinator at a major University and is currently working towards her MEd in Educational Leadership. Leigha is thrilled to be teaching at Institute of Dance Artistry where she grew up dancing as an IDA student.

Jeff Manosca is a choreographer and dancer currently residing in Philadelphia, PA. He has obtained his Bachelors/Masters of Engineering at Villanova University, but dance has always been his passion. Starting out self-taught in breakdance and choreography with a dance crew, he then continued to train in hip hop at various studios in the NY/NJ/PA/CA areas. He is currently teaching at numerous locations for dance teams, competition teams, and guest workshops.
Jeff has also had the opportunity to travel across the U.S. to teach at studios to benefit and donate to charities. As a setup assistant for Monsters of Hip Hop Jeff has had the opportunity to train under their faculty as well as with Dave Scott, Laurieann Gibson, Tabitha and Napoleaon D’ump (Nappytabs), and Marty Kudelka to name a few. Recently, he auditioned for and accepted a signed offer to join BLOC NYC Talent Agency to explore more opportunities and professional avenues.
Jeff’s credits include co-choreographer and dancer for the Freestyle Music US tour concerts for Jade Starling of Pretty Poison and co-choreographer for dance crews Point Blank, Fr3sh, and Clutch Collective who showcased and competed in various dance circuits including World of Dance, Prelude, and Hip hop Internationals.
Kelli Moshen, Founder and Artistic Director of Philadelphia’s premier dance company Project Moshen, is also a dance instructor at Koresh School of Dance and a Barre instructor at The Sporting Club at the Bellevue. Since receiving her BFA in jazz dance from the University of the Arts, she has choreographed and performed along with her company in various Philly Fringe Festivals, The Philadelphia Flower show, Corporate Events for Genos Steaks, Morris Animal Refuge’s Furball, Koresh Showcases, Steps on Broadway showcase, and the Come Together Dance Festival. Kelli has worked with acclaimed choreographers such as Rennie Harris, Ronen Koresh, Melissa Rector, Scott Jovovich, Crystal Fraizer and Samuel Reyes.
Besides running her own company, Kelli works for Events Beyond Expectations (EBE) as a Master of Ceremonies performing at Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, corporate events, galas and more. Kelli is also involved in the business aspects of dance. She has worked for McDonald Selznick Associates (MSA) a prominent Dance Agency in New York City and Los Angeles and Broadway Dance Center where her experience has taught her how to operate her own company and teach in the professional dance world.
Kelli’s love for performing has not only inspired her students, but her colleagues as well. Kelli continues to broaden her dance technique by traveling to New York and Los Angeles to train.
Kelli Moshen, B.F.A. Dance, Teaches Various Classes
Rosemary Scalise, born and raised in New Jersey, grew up dancing in local studios. She followed her passion to Towson University where she earned her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography. During her college career Rosemary was a member of the Towson University Dance Company for two years. She performed original works by Darrell Grand Moultrie, Kim Y. Bears-Bailey, Runqiao Du, Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell, Quilan Arnold, and Susan Mann.
Following graduation, she attended the 2017 METdance Professional Intensive, under scholarship, in Houston, Texas. In December 2017, Rosemary began her professional career by accepting an apprenticeship with Nickerson-Rossi Dance (East). As of May 2018, Rosemary has been promoted to company member with Nickerson-Rossi Dance (East).
Rosemary Scalise, B.F.A Dance, Teaches Various Classes
Madison DeLong received her BFA in Dance Performance from Kent State University in May of 2017. Raised in Perrysburg, Ohio, Madison has studied in various styles of dance ranging from modern and contemporary to jazz and hip-hop. During her time at Kent State University, she discovered her passion for both performance on the concert stage as well as for choreography.
Madison was a three- year member of the Kent Dance Ensemble, a pre-professional dance company within the dance division. During her time with Ensemble she worked with many guest artists, most notably Garth Fagan of Garth Fagan Dance, Stephanie Martinez of Chicago and Christopher Evans of Hofesh Shecter Company/ Gecko Theatre. Madison’s own choreography has been presented in various venues such as concerts at Kent State, Ted Talk series, the American College Dance Association Annual Conference and at international conferences.
She found a love for international collaboration during her time at Kent State. She is a founding member of East Meets West, an educational and artistic collaboration between students of Kent State University and Suan Sunndha Rajabhat University in Bangkok, Thailand. She also had the privilege of studying in Florence, Italy at the Openflr choreographic intensive during the summer of 2017 as well as at the Koresh Dance Company pre-professional intensive.
Madison moved to Philadelphia in the summer of 2017. She is a company member of Kelli Moshen’s Project Moshen Dance Company. When she’s not dancing, you can find her at Pure Barre- Media as one of their newest instructors. She is thrilled to be joining the students and teachers at IDA this upcoming year and continue to share her passion for movement!
Madison DeLong, BFA Dance, Teaches Various Classes

She was formerly an apprentice with NYC based company Kaleidoscope Dance Theatre and currently dances for Nickerson-Rossi Dance (East), Putty Dance Project, Alana Melene Dances, and ContempraDANCE Theatre.
Along with dance, Sarah is a certified Bar Method instructor currently teaching at the Bar Method Rittenhouse location in Center City Philadelphia.

Michelle is a former captain of the Sixers Dancers. Through the Sixers, Michelle has performed on an NBA China Tour in cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Lanzhou, Fuzhou, Dongguan, Nanchang, and in Taipei, Taiwan. In 2014, Michelle was selected to be a member of the NBA All Star Dance Team for the All Star game held in New Orleans, Louisiana; and in addition, has performed at the 2015 All Star Game in New York City. She also has performed during halftimes and other events with various artists including Nico&Vinz, Tag Team, Montell Jordan, Naughty by Nature, Pharrell Williams, and Vanilla Ice.
Michelle Figueiredo, BA Dance, Teaches Street Jazz Classes
Rebecca Inman. has been a full-time instructor at IDA for 11 years. She is a graduate from University of the Arts with a B.F.A. in Jazz Dance Performance.
She has performed with several different dance companies in Philadelphia including Junto Society Dance Collective, Venus Dance and Flow.
Rebecca has also performed professionally with New Jersey's Surflight Theater in musical theater productions. Some of her leading roles include Belle in "Beauty and the Beast", Wendy in "Peter Pan", Cinderella in "Cinderella", and Glinda in "Wizard of Oz."
She has been a featured dancer in "Damn Yankees," "La Cage Aux Folles," "Cabaret," and "Fiddler on the Roof."
Rebecca was also a principle dancer in Cygnus Contemporary Dance Company where she performed in the corps de ballet in "Coppelia," "Cinderella," and "Faust" with memebrs of the Metropolitan Opera in New York City.

Wendi Fisch began dance training at the age of three and still continues to study her art form. She became a serious student at the Tidewater Ballet Association in Norfolk, VA. under the direction of Gene Hammett. She was an invitational student at the School of American Ballet in New York City, The Royal Ballet in London, Melissa Hayden Ballet School and a scholarship recipient at the Joffrey Ballet. She performed with Mikhail Baryshnikov and New York City Ballet at Kennedy Center and the White House. Wendi was one of two dancers chosen to dance Balanchine’s Union Jack at Kennedy Center.
She has worked or studied with renowned choreographers and teachers ,including Alexandra Danilova, Edward Villella , Meredith Baylis, Francesca Corkle, Suki Schorer, Patricia Sorrell and many more. Wendi has been a guest artist for many companies including the Richmond Ballet,Washington Ballet and a member of the San Antonio Ballet Company and American Festival Ballet Company. She received a Bachelor of Science in Ballet/Music and Psychology from Indiana University, Bloomington under the direction of Jean Pierre Bonnefoux, Patricia McBride and Jacques Cesbron. While at Indiana, she originated roles in Carmina Burana for Jaques Cesbron and works for the opera with noted choreographer Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux.
She has performed lead roles in Gisele, Swan Lake, Paquita, Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Sleeping Beauty and Balanchine works. She has been teaching for over twenty-five years throughout the country and the Philadelphia area and enthusiastically continues to teach and choreograph. Wendi has been involved in the preparation of her students participating in the Youth America Grand Prix competition and dancing at Regional Dance America. She has started numerous non-profit dance programs throughout the country that are still thriving today. Wendi uses her current pilates training to focus on proper alignment and body awareness while concentrating on a strong technical foundation. She believes in inspiring her students to follow their dreams with a solid work ethic, confidence, artistry and passion.
Steven Vaughn, born in the Midwest and raised in Massachusetts, began dancing very young at various dance studios and continued through high school. He graduated cum laude with awards from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA in 2009 earning a BFA & MFA Dance.
While in Philadelphia, he worked with Brian Sanders, Jennifer Binford- Johnson, Scott Jovovich, Curt Haworth, Silvana Cardell and more. After an apprenticeship with the company during his final year at UArts, Steven was a dancer with Parsons Dance (under David Parsons) until 2014. While in New York City, he worked with Monica Bill-Barnes, Robert Battle, and Kate Skarpetowska among others. He performed in Teddy Forance and Jon Arpino’s CLI dance documentary “Movement One” starring Stephen “tWitch” Boss and he can be seen on “Law and Order:SVU”.
He has taught across the United States, Italy and Israel and has been commissioned by Houston Metropolitan Dance Co., SHARP Dance Co., Harvard University, Westchester University, Long Island University, and other college dance programs.
He is currently living in Philadelphia, PA and completing a MFA in Dance from Hollins University in Virginia under director Jeffery Bullock. Steven is on faculty at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ, as well as various studios in the greater Philadelphia area. He continues to choreograph, teach and perform as a guest artist and for his own troupe, Open Category Dance Co.

Kelli Moshen, Founder and Artistic Director of Philadelphia’s premier dance company Project Moshen, is also a dance instructor at Koresh School of Dance and a Barre instructor at The Sporting Club at the Bellevue. Since receiving her BFA in jazz dance from the University of the Arts, she has choreographed and performed along with her company in various Philly Fringe Festivals, The Philadelphia Flower show, Corporate Events for Genos Steaks, Morris Animal Refuge’s Furball, Koresh Showcases, Steps on Broadway showcase, and the Come Together Dance Festival. Kelli has worked with acclaimed choreographers such as Rennie Harris, Ronen Koresh, Melissa Rector, Scott Jovovich, Crystal Fraizer and Samuel Reyes.
Besides running her own company, Kelli works for Events Beyond Expectations (EBE) as a Master of Ceremonies performing at Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, corporate events, galas and more. Kelli is also involved in the business aspects of dance. She has worked for McDonald Selznick Associates (MSA) a prominent Dance Agency in New York City and Los Angeles and Broadway Dance Center where her experience has taught her how to operate her own company and teach in the professional dance world.
Kelli’s love for performing has not only inspired her students, but her colleagues as well. Kelli continues to broaden her dance technique by traveling to New York and Los Angeles to train.

Lauren Maschmeyer, grew up in Wayne, PA and began training at the Rock School West under the direction of Bo and Stephanie Spassoff in all styles of dance ranging from ballet, tap, jazz and musical theater. Once she started high school, she decided to focus primarily on ballet and continued her training at the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet under John White and Margarita De Saa. During this time, she took class at Koresh Dance School to keep up with her modern technique as well. She attended numerous summer programs such as The Rock School, Houston Ballet, American Ballet Theatre and Nutmeg Conservatory of the Arts.
She continued her education at Florida State University graduating with a BFA in Dance and a BS in Finance. Lauren had the opportunity to work with faculty members such as Gerri Houlihan, Lynda Davis, Dan Wagoner and Suzanne Farrell focusing on ballet and various modern techniques. While in school, she joined the Tallahassee Ballet Company as a Senior Company member in 2011 and was promoted to Soloist for the 2012-2014 seasons under the direction of Rick McCullough and Tyrone Brooks. With the company, she performed roles in numerous ballets such as The Nutcracker, Rapunzel, Beauty and the Beast and Sleeping Beauty.
She began teaching at The Tallahassee Ballet School in 2012, and taught all age groups various styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, creative movement and pointe and variations. Lauren currently works at Vanguard pursuing her Finance degree, but has a strong passion for teaching dance as well. She loves to utilize both degrees, and have the chance to spread her love of dance to the students after she is done at the office each day.

Rosemary Scalise, born and raised in New Jersey, grew up dancing in local studios. She followed her passion to Towson University where she earned her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography. During her college career Rosemary was a member of the Towson University Dance Company for two years. She performed original works by Darrell Grand Moultrie, Kim Y. Bears-Bailey, Runqiao Du, Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell, Quilan Arnold, and Susan Mann.
Following graduation, she attended the 2017 METdance Professional Intensive, under scholarship, in Houston, Texas. In December 2017, Rosemary began her professional career by accepting an apprenticeship with Nickerson-Rossi Dance (East). As of May 2018, Rosemary has been promoted to company member with Nickerson-Rossi Dance (East).
Rosemary Scalise, B.F.A Dance, Teaches Various Classes
Madison DeLong received her BFA in Dance Performance from Kent State University in May of 2017. Raised in Perrysburg, Ohio, Madison has studied in various styles of dance ranging from modern and contemporary to jazz and hip-hop. During her time at Kent State University, she discovered her passion for both performance on the concert stage as well as for choreography.
Madison was a three- year member of the Kent Dance Ensemble, a pre-professional dance company within the dance division. During her time with Ensemble she worked with many guest artists, most notably Garth Fagan of Garth Fagan Dance, Stephanie Martinez of Chicago and Christopher Evans of Hofesh Shecter Company/ Gecko Theatre. Madison’s own choreography has been presented in various venues such as concerts at Kent State, Ted Talk series, the American College Dance Association Annual Conference and at international conferences.
She found a love for international collaboration during her time at Kent State. She is a founding member of East Meets West, an educational and artistic collaboration between students of Kent State University and Suan Sunndha Rajabhat University in Bangkok, Thailand. She also had the privilege of studying in Florence, Italy at the Openflr choreographic intensive during the summer of 2017 as well as at the Koresh Dance Company pre-professional intensive.
Madison moved to Philadelphia in the summer of 2017. She is a company member of Kelli Moshen’s Project Moshen Dance Company. When she’s not dancing, you can find her at Pure Barre- Media as one of their newest instructors. She is thrilled to be joining the students and teachers at IDA this upcoming year and continue to share her passion for movement!
Madison DeLong, BFA Dance, Teaches Various Classes
Yuki Ishiguro, is originally from Japan. He began dancing at 18 years old when he discovered break dancing on the street. He went on to study many forms of dance. Yuki graduated from Ritsumeikan University with a Bachelor’s degree in business but chose to move to New York City to become a professional dancer.
Yuki studied contemporary dance at Dance New Amsterdam (DNA) mostly influenced by Max Stone and also became certified in the Simonson dance teaching method. Yuki trained extensively with America’s Got Talent Season 8 winner Kenichi, studying hip-hop based tricks, magic, and prop manipulation for stage effects for dance.
Based on his training and his own practice Yuki created his own dance style and signature movement which has been praised in dance reviews. “Speedy mix of b-boy, gymnastics and dance that seemingly could only be done by a gymnast who has street performing cred and some serious dance training.”
Yuki has danced and toured with more than 20 dance companies in the US including Roxey Ballet, Catapult Entertainment, New York City ballet choreographer Emery LeCrone, IsadoraNOW and Dance Visions NY built by the disciples of legendary modern dance icon Isadora Duncan. Yuki’s name has been recorded in the Isadora Duncan Archive for his creation of a male version of Duncan moves which was praised by dance reviewers.
Additionally Yuki has danced and choreographed for films, and has studied videography, martial arts, and yoga. He created his own practice style “Breakin’ Flow” which has been taught at US circus festivals. Yuki is excited to be bringing his unique style and international experience to the students of IDA.
Janine N. Beckles, a native of New York City, started dancing at the age of six at Dance Theatre of Harlem, where she stayed for eight years under full scholarship. She then continued her training at LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts and the Ailey School on fellowship scholarship (performing "Memoria," "Hymn," and "Revelations").
Janine received a BFA in Dance Performance and a BA in Sociology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.
Janine was a National Foundation of the Arts award recipient in Modern Dance in 2000. A former member of Dallas Black Dance Theatre for five years, Janine is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
She is currently a lead dancer with PHILADANCO and in her sixth season. She is the company Graham teacher and masterclass instructor while the company is on tour.
Shannon Bramham is originally from Virginia and graduated with her BFA in Dance Performance from East Carolina University. She joined Koresh Dance Company in 2008. Currently, in addition to dancing as a senior member of the Company, Shannon manages Koresh Dance Company’s robust touring educational and outreach program.
She leads many of the KDC’s programs offered on tour. In addition, she is among the few dancers chosen to regularly set Koresh choreography.
Shannon is also regularly invited to teach and set her own work. Recent locations include Wright State University, South Dayton Dance Theater, Highpoint University, We are Artists, East Carolina University, and Nina's School of Dance. Her work has also been showcased at ACDFA and RDA.
Shannon currently teaches adults at the Koresh School of Dance.
Amy Mullin graduated with a BFA in dance from Temple University with concentrations in modern, jazz and ballet. She was a modern dance scholarship student at the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts and was asked back for several years to assist. Amy continues to train and take class at Broadway Dance Center, NYC and throughout Philadelphia.
Amy has performed at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre as part of Koresh Dance Company’s Come Together Festival, the Koresh Artist Showcase, at The Producer’s Club in NYC, at The Laurie Beechman Theatre in NYC, at the Kraine Theatre in NYC, at the Teatro Centro Civico Eloy Alfaro in Guayaquil, Ecuador and has opened for BalletX in Philadelphia, to name a few.
As a choreographer, Amy has directed her own dance company, The AccoMpanY Dancers, which performed at Temple University, in Atlantic City, and throughout New Jersey. Her choreography was presented at the Capitol Fringe in Washington D.C., at the Koresh Artist Showcase, Koresh’s Come Together Festival, in many theaters in NYC and throughout Philadelphia.
As a teacher, Amy pushes her students rhythmically and artistically while focusing on dance as a performance art, not a competition. amysmithdance.com.
Dominick Boyd was raised in the Bronx, New York where he started his professional dance career at the age of 17.
He has performed with artists such as Alicia Keys, Bad Boy recording artist 112, Omarion, and others.
Now Dominick Boyd resides in the state of Pennsylvania where he created his own dance company and training program Born Into the Arts (B.I.A.).
In its nine years of establishment, B.I.A. has received many awards and performed at many prestigious places and events such as World of Dance, Prelude, and Dance Craze.
Just recently B.I.A. was accepted onto the legendary Showtime at the Apollo.
Dominick's artistic motto is "dance is the image of sound and movement is the window to your soul." Dominick has been a hip-hop teacher and company choreographer at IDA for ten years.
Jamie Lipskin is the founder and director of Institute of Dance Artistry. She has a B.F.A. in dance from Temple University with concentrations in modern and ballet. She is also the director of the IDA Repertory Companies and has worked to form a strong relationship between Institute of Dance Artistry and the Philadelphia professional dance community.
Jamie produces the Generations Dance Concert series featuring student and professional dancers helping raise money for various charities. Her choreography has been selected and performed at the Koresh Artists Showcase, Inhale Performance Series, and Philadelphia Youth Dance Festival. She also is a musical theater choreographer and has staged many great dance shows including West Side Story, Cabaret, Spring Awakening, and A Chorus Line. Jamie has performed with various dance companies and independent choreographers in the Philadelphia area in many venues including the Arts Bank, Drake Theatre, International House, Meetinghouse Theatre, Conwell Dance Theatre, Merriam Theater and Society Hill Playhouse as well as in several Philadelphia Fringe Festivals.
Jamie’s number one passion is teaching dance. She believes in creating a lively, energetic environment where students work hard to achieve their absolute best while generating an excitement and enthusiasm for the art of dance.

Kelly Trevlyn grew up in Media, PA and began her dance training at the Rock School West in West Chester, PA. She then attended Point Park University to further her education and graduated with a BA in dance in 2013. During her time at Point Park, Kelly had the opportunity to perform original works by Sidra Bell, Christopher Huggins, Garfield Lemonius, Ron Tassone, and Patrick Franz, as well as explore her own choreographic ideas. Upon graduating, Kelly joined Dissonance Dance Theatre and Deviated Theatre as a company member in Washington, DC. In 2014 she joined Brian Sanders’ JUNK in Philadelphia. She has since been performing locally and throughout the country with JUNK, Matter Movement Group, Gunnar Montana Productions, and SHARP Dance Company.
Kelly Trevlyn, B.A. Dance , Teaches Various Classes
Heather Fisch was born and raised in Ambler, PA. She began her training in the Philadelphia area in ballet, where she frequently had faculty from the Pennsylvania Ballet. Heather continued her knowledge on other dance styles at the Institute of Dance Artistry, and pre-college programs: University of the Arts, Carnegie Mellon, and Northwestern University.
Heather is a graduate of the University of Miami, where she received a BFA in Musical Theater. She was in charge of the University of Miami dance audition for the BFA Musical Theater program. Heather has been a choreographer/dance teacher at the Palace Theater, University of Miami (Frost School of Music), Playhouse on Park, and Woodstock Playhouse, where she put together many full-scale productions for ages 7-18.
When not teaching at IDA, Heather is a part of the faculty at DramaZone in NYC, where she teaches kids ballet and musical theater. She’s also a professional actress that has worked at The Montgomery Theater, Playhouse on Park, and Woodstock Playhouse, Live at Lynn! at The Wold Center of Performing Arts. Along with her stage work, Heather has also been apart of a couple featured films: Santastein!, Creed 2, and Unboxed.

Dominique Thompson began her training at Frank Sinatra School of the Arts as a dance major in Astoria Queens, NY. Thompson graduated from Montclair State University (MSU) in 2017 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance. At MSU she studied ballet, pointe, tap, African, and various modern techniques such as Horton, Limón, May O’Donnell, Paul Taylor, and contemporary. At MSU, she has performed works by Larry Keigwin, Fredrick Earl Mosley, Christian Von Howard, Nancy Lushington, and others. Along with the performing aspects of dance she has completed dance teaching courses such as Dance for Children, Dance Methods, and an internship at Sharron Miller’s Academy for the Performing Arts in Montclair, NJ. She has been teaching and choreographing works at many dance institutions throughout NY and NJ. Thompson has previously trained at Philadanco Summer Intensive, Earl Mosley Winter Intensive, Elisa Monte Dance Summer Series, Dance Theater of Harlem Winter Intensive and Innervisions Theater Arts Center Summer Intensive. Currently she resides in Philadelphia PA, where she is an apprentice dancer with the Philadanco Dance Company.
